“The Jester”
As part of Sir Anthony Hopkins’ Eternal Collection, I created this animation exploring “The Jester”, one of the many Jungian Archetypes represented through digital art.
Archetypes are universal patterns of design, storytelling, and symbolism that echo across cultures and history. In this piece, the Jester is not a lighthearted figure of humor — but rather a twisted, chaotic force.

Concept
The Jester in this story takes joy in catastrophe. His performance is one of chaos:
He unearths a prehistoric, world-altering Totem.
He terraforms his planet, pushing it to the very brink of peril.
He orchestrates destruction, not out of malice, but out of delight — because he can.
It is a darker reflection of the archetype, where laughter and joy are derived from the collapse of order.

Production
This project was developed under tight deadlines, requiring rapid movement from concept to delivery while balancing creative experimentation.
Role: Ideation → Animation → Compositing → Final Edit
Tools: Cinema 4D, After Effects, Redshift, Premiere Pro

The final piece visualizes The Jester as both performer and destroyer — a figure who embodies the paradox of joy born from peril.
This project challenged me to take a familiar archetype and subvert it, exploring how motion design, symbolism, and narrative tension can transform a character into something new and unsettling.
